Ответы со второго по пятый верны. Насчет первого: согласна со всем, кроме самой первой фразы - are to. Это не модальный глагол. Если бы он был модальным, то после to следовало бы поставить глаголы be explained. Фраза are to be explained в таком случае имела бы перевод: основные цели ботаники ДОЛЖНЫ БЫТЬ ОБЪЯСНЕНЫ.... В данном же предложении другой подтекст: основные цели ботаники - это объяснить....... . Поэтому глагол are - Active voice, Present Simple.
